Metal Gear Solid 4...one epic movie

So I just finished playing Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of The Patriots (exclusively on the Playstation 3). Let me just say this...."WOW"...

It took me about 22 hours 25 mins and 4 secs of total play time to beat it. The game is laid out in a way where you're not playing a game or watching a movie, but PLAYING a movie. The cutscenes vary in length from about 20 mins to over 1 hour.

Hideo Kojima really outdid himself with this one. I wouldn't say it's the BEST game I've ever played, but I would go as far to say that it is a must buy for PS3 owners...if you don't buy it...then why even own a Playstation 3?

I don't own a PS3, but I'm going to need a blue-ray player sooner or later. Any suggestions on talking the wife into such a purchase?

Well, here's some reasons:

1. It can connect to the internet and download new firmwares automatically so your Blu-Ray player won't expire when a new firmware comes out. Some players that cost $600 have already become extinct.
2. It plays games!
3. Playstation is expanding into streaming HD movies.
4. In certain models, you can plug in your memory cards from your digital camera to display on your tv.
5. The controllers are wireless and have built in rechargeable batteries. (No more buying AA or AAA-batteries for your remote)
6. It's cheaper than some Blu-Ray players and it's sleek looking too!

There. Are those enough reasons why getting a PS3 for a blu-ray player is better than any other player that'll cost you the same, if not more?
